Dr. Jennifer Chen, D.D.S.

Dr. Jennifer Chen completed her dentist internship at Tri-Military General Hospital and received her Bachelor degree from the Taipei Medical College. She graduated from Northwestern University for her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.  She has been practicing dentistry in Chicago area for over 20 years.


Dr. Chen enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially root canal therapy, non-surgical periodontal therapy, non-surgical TMJ correction, dentures, implants, one-hour smile whitening, simple/no tooth pullout braces and cosmetic dentistry.  She prides herself on educating her patients so they can select the treatment is right for them. In addition to providing useful service to her patients, she is actively involved in learning updating dental knowledge through attending continue education regularly.

Dr. Chen likes to establish a long-term relationship with each patient that is built upon mutual respect and trust, and work hard to make sure that her level of care is deserving of her patients’ respect and confidence. With this simple and easy philosophy in mind, she would provide the type of care that her patients expect and need. She is committed to offering quality dentistry and making excellent dental health a reality for all her patients.


Dr. Chen and her husband, Bill, have been happily married for 20 years. They met in dental clinic at Northwestern University Hospital when she was a dental student there.    Bill was a computer engineer at Lucent for many years, and presently works at Motorola. Dr. Chen and Bill moved to Naperville suburb because the area lends itself to raising a family. They have a 19-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old boy now with one Shiba Inu dog named Sesame as their pets.  She enjoys the fresh soil smell associated with gardening.  She is also an adventurer and likes to explore different thinking through books.  She likes gourmet cooking, and finds rewards in creating supreme food through combining simple ingredients.
